Went out to eat Friday evening for Chinese (yum!) and then did a little shopping here and there. Saturday, I woke up at a respectable hour and actually WORKED OUT! Yes, I'm on that kick again. Now that I have my 3 workout DVDs, I am going to get up early every morning and do a workout. I worked on a few scrapbook pages for my friend Vince's Hawaii Triathalon scrapbook, and then Chris, Aspen, and I went in search of a new dishwasher!!!! While Aspen played house among all the kitchen displays and the like, Chris and I picked out a shiny new white dishwasher. Hopefully we'll be able to have it installed tomorrow :) We also ended up getting a new microwave...in our long list of things to still get for our kitchen. We still lack a lot (fridge, oven, stovetop, counters, painting of all cabinets) but we are well on our way now...
Ended up pouring down rain for about 30 minutes last night...here's a shot I got:
The microwave ended up being a much bigger challenge than we thought it would be! It took most of the evening getting the old one down and the new one up, but it looks great! You just have to "imagine" what it's going to look like, once the cabinets are white too!! :)
I'm off to the grocery store...Sundays are good, but they usually end up being chore day, including cleaning the house, the grocery store, laundry. The work is just never done! And Sunday just means that Monday is right around the corner, and that's just no good!!!! Hope you all had a great weekend!!!

Sounds like u had a busy weekend. It will be great when you have everything u need for ur kitchen...it will all eventually come together. I too had a busy weekend. Moved house! It is so good to finally be in our own space! We have things to start getting together for our place. A microwave is on our list of things too but for now we are busy setting up house!

WOO HOO! I am so glad to hear that you got the new dish washer! I know you will all enjoy that so much! Ugh, sorry to hear that the microwave wasn't so easy to put in, but I bet it looks great now!
