Who knew that adjusting to a time zone with a 5-hour difference would be so rough? Adjusting to Tahiti time was pretty easy, but readjusting to our Abilene time now that we are home is much harder than I anticipated. I know, I know...cry you a river, right? :)
After work yesterday, I met Kim for our 30 minute walk...we headed to the mall since it had rained all day. Was so nice to see her again, and chat. We probably could've talked for 4 more hours! Stopped at the grocery store on the way home for the week's groceries, and then finally arrived home to the smell of Mimi's yummy home cookin'. She was so sweet and cooked meatloaf and mashed potatoes for us...I appreciated that gesture so much, and thouroughly enjoyed her famous mashed potatoes with the butter pockets!!!! Did two of our five loads of laundry. When I got up to do the dishes, I just hit a wall...felt like I was about to drop into a deep sleep right there at the sink. I muddled through, and then fell into bed around 9:30. I thought I was doing good, but I was up about 1/3 of the night with whacked out sinuses. Dang them!!!!!
So, I'm feeling even worse today than I did yesterday. :(
Hopefully I will start feeling human again, and hopefully that will happen tomorrow!
Busy week here:
:: am hosting bunko at our house Wednesday...
:: Thursday is Meet the Teacher night at school...
:: we're heading to Dallas at some point this coming weekend to do school clothes shopping
:: must go through Aspen's closet before then and decide what still fits and what doesn't

It'll go away, you just need another day or so :) Hope you get something accomplished today!
Poor Kelley!!! Those darn sinuses will kill you! And I'm sure you ARE exhausted. Just try to get some rest...maybe this weekend? Maybe you can keep the weekend plans to just the school clothes shopping and rest the remainder of the weekend. I am dying to see your photos, but you just post them when you feel like it. I mean, it WILL take awhile to go through all those and choose some to post.
haha this is going to sound ridiculous I know but do you have a daughter?? haha judging by your other blogs I assumed it was just you and your man (oh and ur puppy)?? Just curious to know! You get this image of people's lives you read about on the blogs and that wasn't the one I had imagined. Hehe....crazy day today! Have a great day.
Frenchy: you crack me up! My fiance, Chris, has a 9 year old daughter named Aspen. So it's me, Chris, Aspen, and our two dogs, Foster the Boxer and Little Man the Chihuahua!
