eye strain, time travel, etc.

Wow...it's been awhile since I've been to the eye doctor. A long while. Chris and I both have appointments this Thursday. Mine is long overdue, I have been getting daily "eye strain" headaches for weeks now. I can tell my eyes have gotten much worse, and I'm sure it is due to all the time I spend looking at a computer screen. I've also been having real problems with my contacts drying out. Will be talking to the eye doctor about that too. Chris has been wearing glasses for awhile, only when he's tired or working on the computer for a long time. He needs an updated prescription, and he thinks that he would like to try contacts. This could be interesting! Getting used to contacts is a process, for sure...luckily I've been through it and can offer some tips! :)

I am sooo enjoying my book right now. I read a ton this past weekend, and am almost finished with it. I definitely recommend The Time Traveler's Wife...it is a story that stays with you...

Seems like it's been a long time since I've had any work for my side business, Doodad Designs. And now suddenly, I have a few jobs all at once. It always tends to work out like that! I've just finished 4 scrapbook pages for a triathalon, and today I got a job to design a logo for a dentist who just opened his own practice. And I've also been asked to design a business card for a small new company. Stuff to do, stuff to do...

That's my life, right now. I rushed home from work to get those contacts out of my eyes, and am now attempting to will the headache away. Time to start dinner, so off I go!
