Awhile back, my friend Jackie asked us what superpower we'd want to have. My answer to her was that I would be able to close my eyes, and open them to be wherever I wanted to be. Quick travel. With family and friends so far away, that would sure be a great power to have!
I was thinking about this again the other day. I think there is another power I'd like to have, even more than that one...
I WANT THE ABILITY TO FREEZE TIME. This would come in handy, in SO many circumstances...
:: I seem to really need to get a consistent 8 hours of sleep every night to feel like I'm functioning well...I rarely get that, so by freezing time, I'd be able to get as much sleep as I need without missing anything else.
:: A lot of times, my desire to create is so strong, but I can't seem to find the time to scrapbook. I could freeze time, and spend hours and hours doing what I love, without wasting time that could be spent with my loved ones.
:: It wouldn't matter how much vacation time you get from work...if we felt like going away for a month, we could just freeze time, travel away to relax, and return without anyone having known the difference!
:: When I visit St. Louis to see my family and friends there, the time always flies by too quickly. By freezing time, we could stay up there as long as we wanted, without our life at home moving on without us.
:: It's hard to balance time between Chris, family, friends, me. Freezing time would help me squeeze it all in, filling myself up with all of these things that are important to me.
Where do I sign up??

Oh Kelley if only!!! Sounds like the answer to all of our problems. Lack of time is always a big problem. I had only 3 hours sleep last night and would be absolutely hanging out for the ability to freeze time right now. I'd also freeze time so that I could fix my relationship with Dan. Work gets in the way of us.
If I had a super power it would be...to have aprotective shield. Then I could wrap up my loved ones and know that they were always safe. I wouldn't have to worry about them, know they'll always be around. That would be great.
Now there is a fabulous idea!! I could rest, scrap, work, AND my house would be spotless...among other things...
Oh, I love the idea of freezing time!! I am in that line with you to sign on the dotted like to be able to do it!
Freezing time would be wonderful!!! I have another cool thing about freezing time to add to your list:
Being able to get the perfect photo!!! Just think how awesome that would be. I've been thinking alot too about the camera eyes Danielle said she would choose to have. That would be great too. It's fun to dream , isn't it?
Hey Kelley, just quickly. Those pics on my blog were just taken off my digi cam. It takes the best pics on the black and white setting! Dan will be off to Airlie Beach (12 hours north) for work on Saturday for 2 months. He works in a backpackers, you can understand my concern!!!
