another day, another fifty cents

Just another Monday here...work was fairly crazy today from the time I set foot into the building until I left (late) at 5:15. Go go go...and the rest of the week promises to be more of the same.

To bed early tonight...stayed up much too late over the weekend, which has me all thrown off of course!

Tomorrow for lunch, my department is taking our boss out to Jason's Deli for her Boss's Day lunch...that will be yummy! I love Jason's Deli. Can't wait to sink my teeth into a mufffelatta!!!

Was planning to have a Girls Movie Night with some friends tomorrow, but I think it may be pushed back to later in the week. We'll see. We're wanting to see Elizabethtown. Bad reviews and all, we still want to see! Sometimes you have to make these decisions for yourself!!

We bought some pumpkins last night at the grocery store, and plan to carve them on Wednesday I think. That will be a fun time, and a photo op, of course! I've been wanting to do something that I saw Martha Stewart do a few years ago...using a drill, you make a design of holes on the pumpkin. Looks so pretty!

Tell me...do you have pumpkin patches where you live??? We don't have them in Texas, and I think these Texans are really missing out on a cool tradition! I remember going to them when I was little in Missouri...it just isn't the same buying them at the grocery store!!!

Well, you know we have pumpkin patches out here! There are some really cool ones, but don't know if we'll make it to them, since Ashleigh has gotten sick. There is one one Tupelo with hay mazes and all sorts of other cool stuff. Can't believe TEXAS doesn't have them!!! Thought they'd have the biggest ones around, LOL
