another weekend over

I hope that you all had fantastic weekends! They always go so fast, don't they? Doesn't seem fair!!

Friday evening, we had a quick soccer errand to take care of and then we headed to China Star for our favorite chinese buffet. Yum! Afterwards, we shopped around Michaels for a bit, then headed home...

Saturday morning, we had an early soccer game at 9:00...which we won, 2-0. It was technically the last game of the season, though we had a second game that day at 3:00 that didn't count toward the standings. We ended up in second place overall, which ain't too shabby...Chris stayed out at the complex for most of the day, and I headed home to get some scrapping time in. I thouroughly enjoyed the day, I felt the creative juices flowing and was really pleased with everything produced. That's rare! :) Below is one of the layouts from the day:

You gotta love the whole blog thing...it's instant journaling tidbits!! Journaling has never been my strong point, but now seems so much easier! Just pull from a blog entry!! Let me know what you think of the page...I'll be posting two two-page layouts tomorrow. The photos I took of those didn't come out right. I did one on Aspen being a witch for Halloween, and one on when Chris proposed to me.

When Chris got home, we headed for a quick dinner at Taco Bell and then went to Hastings. He wanted to get a cd, and I love looking around at the books and magazines. They had the newest Hall of Fame book there, and it was good to flip through that. Very inspiring stuff!

Sunday has been filled with chores: cleaning house, laundry, grocery shopping. I had to stop by Michaels again to pick up a Bunko prize since that is this week. And I went through all of my scrapbook supplies and reorganized, because Kim gave me a few plastic containers that greatly helped me divide my stuff out better. Lots of stuff that needs to be used!

On tap for this week:
Monday -- I'm taking Aspen to the dentist for her first time...we'll see how that goes! We'll also be trick-or-treating with the little witch...

Wednesday -- Bunko Night

Thursday -- My Grandma McCarthy's birthday...

Friday -- The new animated film, Chicken Little, opens...we're planning to go see it as a family, it looks adorable! Will have to wait until the second weekend to see it though...

Saturday -- This is the one year mark of when Chris proposed to me! To celebrate, we are going to go get massages!!! It will be his first professional massage. The 5th is also my step-dad Pat's birthday...it will be another day of remembering him...

Hopefully it will be a less crazy week at work...I could do with a little less stress! My poor zit-infested face can't handle anymore!!!

Let's have a beautiful week!!!
