We had a pretty busy weekend here. But a good one!
Friday evening, we went to Mr. Gatti's to celebrate Aspen's straight A's on her report card. Ate some pizza and salad, and then played some games afterwards in the arcade. Aspen was adament that I do the bumper cars with her, and that ended up being very fun. After that, we headed to Bahama Bucks to try their snocones and smoothies. We waited in line FOREVER, but the treats were yummy.
Saturday, Chris was off the soccer fields early for the tournament. They played three games (won two of them) and that was enough to qualify for the games on Sunday. So Chris was very pleased. He and Aspen had an enjoyable time spending the day at the soccer complex.
Saturday was the monthly crop that I attend, and I had a lot of fun. Kim and I rode together since it was in a town about 30 minutes away, and I enjoyed talking with her. We made some pages and ate and talked and played some great games. I always love crop day! Got home around 7:00...then went for a quick dinner and did a few errands with the family.
Sunday, more soccer. First game was at 9:00 and we ended up winning. It was such a surprise, because the other team was up on us, and we have NEVER come back to win from a situation like that. The final score was 5-2, and everyone was thrilled. Played the next game at noon, which we ended up losing. So we were either 3rd or 4th, not too shabby.
Next up for the weekend...our Christmas photo shoot with Kim's family. We started this "tradition" last year, we wanted to get some good family shots for our Christmas cards. I'm so happy that we are doing it again this year. I hope to get some great shots of the three of us!
In between things, I've managed to get the grocery shopping in! And now I need to call my granny and my mom...and maybe get some laundry in before we head to Kim's for the evening...
Lots on the agenda before we leave for St. Louis on Friday!

Some pages ~ how many pages? Need to know where I stand on this challenge?
Sounds like a busy, yet fun weekend! :) Glad we were able to ride to the crop together again. And the photo shoot was a lot of fun!
It's hard to blieve that THIS FRIDAY you will be on your way to see your family!!
