Hello, all! Greetings from St. Louis...
Our trip has been great so far! Breaking the 13-hour drive into two days seemed to help quite a bit (and yes, Chris drove the entire time, as predicted!) We arrived in St. Louis on Saturday around 4:30 pm...had a nice dinner with my mom and just chatted and relaxed...
We've visited with all of my family now, and tomorrow we're meeting my friend Amy for dinner. It's been fun seeing everyone, taking lots of pictures (we've got about 300 so far!) and seeing some sights. I'm also looking forward to preparing the Thanksgiving dinner with my mom...first time ever!
Traffic here in St. Louis SUCKS! It sure makes me love Abilene even more! It takes so long to get anywhere here...and then a lot of times it is bumper to bumper traffic. Makes me miss our ability to get anywhere in Abilene in under 15 minutes! :) I do all of the driving once we are in St. Louis, since I am more familar with the surroundings...my knuckles have been white from dealing with all this traffic! :)
I love visiting and I love that everyone is so willing to pose for all of these pictures I want to take all the time! Thank you everyone! I think that they want to be getting the pictures too, since we take the same shot with multiple cameras. I am soooo all about pictures...the more, the better. Like I told my grandpa, you've got to take a ton of pictures to get the few really good ones. :)

(had intended to post a few pictures...however, I don't have Photoshop on this laptop and can't resize the pics so they are small enough to load onto blogger....so photos to come when we get home!)

I would probably have headaches the whole time I was in St. Louis from dealing with traffic! That or some severe road rage!!!!

Woo hoo!!! So glad to see your post. Damn, I have missed you!!! I know it has only been a couple of days so far, but it seems like much longer!!

for some reason, i guess i thought you were from st. louis currently. so...welcome back to the stubborn mule state! we can leave the state, but not the show-me attitude! (i was born and raised in independence, MO)
