photo shoot

So, yesterday I shared the "bloopers" from our photo shoot...and today, I want to share some of my favorites from the shoot. There are actually some really great ones, and I can't wait to scrapbook them! None of these pictures is in the running to be chosen for the Christmas card, so I can share them here :)

This is one of my very favorite pictures resulting from our shoot...awhile back, I had seen a closeup photo of a couple's hands similar to this, taken by the very talented Kris. I fell in love with it, and have wanted to try it ever since.

This is a shot of our entire group...gotta love tripods! Chris and I seriously need to get one of our own. It came in very handy! Luckily Chris knew how to set our timer, and voila! Here is our lovely group!

This configuration was totally Kelsey's idea...I think it turned out adorable. Each kid adorable in their own right. Will make an adorable scrapbook page!

This is my favorite shot of Chris and me...I love his sweet look, and the way we fit together...this one might go in a frame...

Under Kelsey's direction, we did a lot of pile-ups like this...and they turned out pretty cute! I like this one a lot. No big smiles, just a girl and her daddy. So sweet...

Gotta get the "kiss" photo...I'm a big fan! Also a good look at our profiles :)

Another shot of the three...another adorable one!

This is Ms. Kim and her lovely family...they inspire me, they teach me, they are lovely inside and out...

Here's a slightly more formal pose with me and Chris...I'm all about getting photos of the two of us when we can, because we just don't have too many of just the two of us. Another reason to get that tripod!

Ms. Aspen doing a sweet pose...she's growing into such a beautiful little thing...

And the four of us adults...this picture was taken by Kelsey, and she did a fabulous job. Very impressed! Perfectly centered, everyone with eyes open, looking good!

So, of course, there are tons more...but this gives you an idea of our evening. Now comes the difficult decision of which picture to use for our Christmas cards, and then I can get to scrapbooking all these other great shots!!

Thanks, Halfmanns, for taking part in this new annual tradition with us! We love it!
