Friday evening was Aspen's second basketball game ever...and this game was much better than the first one! The girls seemed to have at least some idea of what was going on, so it will only get better as we go.
No pics to share, we decided to try out the 35m sports function instead of the digital, and I have yet to turn in the film. (Love digital!!!)
The significance of the title of this post: it was Aspen's second game ever, she had two fouls, she got two rebounds, and she scored TWO POINTS!!!!
It was very exciting indeed...as you could tell by seeing Chris jumping up and down with glee on the sidelines!! The other girls on the team were giggling at him, he was that funny to watch. Man, was he a proud papa! It was so cool to see her...she actually rebounded, shot and missed, rebounded her own shot and made it! She looked so surprised! And we were surprised to see her be so persistant with it...definitely exciting!!!
And yes...she's been carrying around her pen in case anyone asks her for her autograph, and has been wearing her sunglasses at night like a superstar!!! :)

GOO Aspen!! She is indeed a Super Star!! :) How fun. I am sure she will continue to improve with each and every game. Heck she has a great person to look up to for help!
