nothing in particular

:: Received another gift in the mail this afternoon, this one from Dronda...(we weren't supposed to be exchanging gifts, missy!!)...she sent a little something for me, for Chris, and for Aspen, which I thought was very sweet. An adorable little pink felt bag filled with Sweet Pea lotions from Bath & Body for Aspen (now she can smell like me!!), a gift card to Starbucks for Chris that he is guarding with his life, and a gorgeous, whimsical, perfectly Kelley bracelet for me. I love this thing, it is so charming! Sterling silver with handpainted glass beads, all different. In pinks and greens, of course!!! I honestly think that I am the easiest person on the planet to buy gifts for...everyone gives me the most perfect gifts that I just adore :) Thank you thank you...from all of us...

:: Received a Christmas card today from my friend, Joanna...the cover has a beautiful picture of her with her precious little family, and what I like best is that it was taken on the beach. They look gorgeous! I can't wait to do a scrapbook page with the photo. I sure do miss seeing her...it's been so dang long...

:: Picked up some pictures today, from CVS. This was my first time getting film developed there. I typically use Walgreens, but have been very disgruntled with them because their one hour developer puts a thin blue line through the picture. I was beginning to think it was our camera! But the pictures from CVS are perfectly fine -- no blue line. It was fun to see this roll, because there were a few on the roll that I had no idea what to expect. Couldn't remember what they were. Haven't used the 35 mm in quite some time. We opened the pack to see Marty, my mom's ex-boyfriend...the pictures were from last New Year's Eve!

:: However, I need some help!!!! Some major pointers, all you great photographers out there!! None of the action shots from the basketball game turned out. I used the sport function. Everything was blurry, especially the subject I was focused on. Help!!! I foresee a lot of basketball games in my future, and I need to know how to shoot them!!

:: I am addicted to sugar. I need to join a rehap group big time. I'm getting it all out of my system because in January I am going healthy. South Beach Diet healthy. I've been reading the book, and I really like the plan. It makes total sense to me. Sugar is the enemy!!! I must detox my body from it, because at the rate I eat sugar now, my insulin levels are probably out of this world. Not healthy. I'm on the road to late onset diabetes for sure.

:: Oh my...I really need to start on my layouts for the 2006 Hall of Fame contest...the deadline looms...ug.
