sweet surprise

We received a Christmas card from my Aunt Karen and Uncle Steve this weekend, which was a nice surprise in itself...I think it's been a few years since she's sent cards out...so I was happy to see her handwriting in our mailbox!

But even better than that...the envelope was marked "Photos, do not bend!", and I was expecting a few pictures from our recent visit with them for Thanksgiving. But I opened the card to reveal this:



How much better were these pictures than what I was expecting!! :) I was thrilled! Grinning from ear to ear...she sent me ten pictures from my childhood, of me and my cousin Katie together...(that's me on the right)...what a wonderful surprise!!! All of them were pictures that I have never seen. Now I want to raid her entire picture stash!!!!
