done

Done, done, done.

Just finished up my ten entries for the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame scrapbook contest. Whew.

It's out of my hands now. Tomorrow, I will mail them off to CK and that's all I can do. Then it's just waiting until the middle of March to find out. I'm just going to put it out of my mind now, and if the call comes, it comes!

I must say, I am so pleased with my layouts. This year feels different than last year, for me. Last year, I was seriously stressed out about the whole thing. I felt like I had to create these awesome pages and I went about it the wrong way. I didn't scrapbook in my style, I tried to do all this "cool" stuff that really wasn't me. This year's entries feel like ME 100%. So for that, I am proud. I am satisfied. I've got pages that I personally love, and that is the most important thing.

Feels good to be done. Feels good to have completed pages that are so ME. Feels good to have such a passion for scrapbooking. Feels good to have the support of some super women, who have given me tremendous feedback and encouragement (thanks girls!!).

Does NOT feel good to look at the disaster in my scrapbook room though! It's a disgrace, stuff is everywhere! Looks like a bomb has gone off! Thank you, Chris, for being patient and understanding about all of this! It will all be put in its place soon, I promise. For now though, off to bed!

Yeah!! That is wonderful. Glad that you have everything done and going in the mail. Your pages are defiantly YOU this year. I love each and every one of them. I am proud of you for doing this, I pray that the staff at CK are smart enough to see the talent you have! Great Job!
