it's a beautiful day

Some randomness for today:

:: We're enjoying some fabulous weather today. After a few days of solid rain (which is very very rare for us), the skys have opened up to beautiful blue with fluffy white clouds and 85 degree weather...love this weather. I want to live somewhere that has weather like this year round. It makes the soul feel lighter...

:: Mimi is doing a little better. She's in a regular room now, and is getting lots of visitors that tire her out. She's breathing on her own, but it's hard. Her oxygen levels aren't excellent. It will still be a few days before she gets to go home, I'm sure...

:: Am feeling so tired. Need about six days of solid sleep. I'm a routine kind of gal, and when that's thrown off, I feel it.

:: Excited about American Idol this evening and tomorrow evening...what did we do before that show came around?

:: I woke up this morning feeling dizzy and off-balance...it lasted most of the morning. Not sure what that's all about, but it kind of freaked me out. It was really bad when I first woke up, I ran into the wall...

:: I'm designing my annual report at work, and am NOT feeling the creative mojo flowing. Too much other stuff is going on at work AND at home. Too hard to concentrate. If nothing happens before Friday, I'll be bringing it home this weekend and locking myself away to get it done by Monday.

:: Did you know that life goes on? Even when something bad happens in your life. Everything around you keeps right on moving. And things still need to be done. Laundry...grocery shopping...cleaning the house...getting kiddos in the bath and into bed and off to school...it all just goes on. It's a little disheartening to me.

:: Wednesday night is bunko night, and I am looking forward to the fun evening. I need it. Off I go with my greenbean casserole and my prize, and I'm not going to think of anything else all evening. Just veg out, and have fun.

:: Know what song I'm loving right now?? Kerosene by Miranda Lambert. Chris downloaded it for me, and I've listened to it over and over again. Love it!

:: My mom and Randy should be closing on their house Wednesday! Keep your fingers crossed that it happens smoothly, because it's been a stressful few weeks for them...
