1 :: What do I NOT need right now??
Medical bills. Pouring in. For my stupid cyst surgery!!!!!
For weeks, I've been getting Blue Cross Blue Shield statements, telling me what was approved, what I would still owe, etc. It's ridiculous how much overall it cost to have that little bump removed! Ridiculous! And, of course, every single person bills you separately. Oh, and those Wound Care visits that I thought I wasn't getting billed for? Ha! Those are showing up now too.
Stupid cyst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like I have thousands of dollars just sitting around to pay for this! In normal circumstances, I wouldn't even have the money, much less while doing all this other stuff including a wedding!
2 :: We had a Realtor Open House today...our realtor is going to compile all of the comments and get back to us. So far, we've heard things like, "Since Spring is here, maybe a few potted plants or hanging baskets outside would look good." And "The carpet could be replaced, but the price they're asking is reasonable so the buyer could just do that themselves." Ummm...ok. Not very helpful!!!! Is a hanging basket going to sell our house??? I don't think so.
3 :: I'm a bit concerned about the cabinets in our new house. Anybody out there know anything about stain??? Because I am not convinced that they ordered the stain we chose. Does stain lighten up as it soaks into the wood??? PLEASE tell me that it lightens up! They did the staining today, and it looks DARK. Darker than I had anticipated, and without the hint of orange that I was wanting. Grrrr. This whole process is starting to wear on me.
4 :: Still doing "catch up" laundry from being gone weekend after weekend...
Okay, so 4 things. Maybe not exactly a "fest", but coming close!!! On a positive note:
1 :: My mom found her library book that she was freaked out about losing, so now she won't have to pay $27 for it!
2 :: American Idol is on tonight...don't have an opinion on who will be kicked off, since I was out enjoying a juicy steak for my birthday last night during the show!
3 :: I get to wear my new custom Ralph Lauren polo shirt tomorrow, because we were granted Casual Thursday and Friday! That rocks!
4 :: Got another birthday card in the mail today! Thanks Dronda!

The snail mail from here to there just floors me ~ I keep moving it up and still did not make it on or before your birthday : - )!
I'm sorry to hear all the crap that is going on. :( I'm glad to see the happy stuff too though! Just send those bills a little each month and be done with it! Don't sweat them!!!

Sorry to hear about the troubles. Some stains do lighten up after a few days. Don't worry about it yet! You have other problems that can occupy the time.
I TOTALLY understand about the medical bills. I'm approaching the $4,000 mark on mine. But at least I have another beautiful daughter to show for it!
