But I must say. Blake's performance with Doug E. Fresh was so awesome tonight. I loved every minute of it, and I think that right there was the true Blake. I wish he had done something like that in his finale performances...he just might have won it all. But, I'm glad that he didn't win, because now he can go and make an album that it totally him. And I think it will be fabulous. So it all ended just perfectly.
In other news...guess what we have in our little front yard today??
Kind of crazy, really. A little surreal, actually. As far as things stand right now, we're closing on June 19th...now begins the collection of many many boxes, and packing packing packing...
But before any of that...Thursday is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! How is the school year already over? It flew by. Aspen is very excited. But also sad, because one of her little friends is moving away to Kansas this weekend. We are having a little "going away" party for her at our house Thursday evening. About 7 girls total I think. Pizza and cookies and candy and chips and popcorn and soda...and 7 girls filled with drama. It will be a bittersweet evening for them all, I'm sure.
My new favorite video?? Kenny Chesney's "You Save Me"...that video gives me chills. It's such a perfect portrayal of pure simple love. Have you seen it??
