tuesday

The front arches are completely done now...they took the lanterns off (I think so that no one would steal them), but otherwise, don't they look nice?? Can't wait to see our real front door in there...

Here's a look at our master bathroom tile shower so far...it's looking pretty good, I think! That darker color is the color that will be on our floors too...after he finishes the shower (he's a one-man deal, so it's taking him awhile), he'll do around the jacuzi tub and then start on the floors...

And the brickers started on the stone fireplace today...it's floor-to-ceiling, with a stone mantle. All that lacks is the stone hearth. It looks really good...

So...progress today...and talked to our realtor about the LACK of progress on the selling of the house...we're reaching "panic mode", our new house will be ready in less than one month.

In other news...out of the blue, after dinner this evening, Aspen asked me, "Is it alright if I rinse off all the dishes?" Uhhh...hello! The best idea she's ever had!! I told her to get after it, and she rinsed her little way through the kitchen, even wiped it all down. Go girl! Not sure when the aliens invaded her body, or what horrible thing she did at school today that she was trying to win some brownie points for...but, I'll take it!

So dang tired of all the rain we're getting. Yes, our grass is deliciously green, but c'mon!!!

I'm off in search of some envelopes for our wedding invitations...my work is never done...

Glad to hear everything is going good with the new house.

I REALLY hope you get the old one sold. I can understand you feeling a little paniced.
