I had a really great weekend...so many fun things happening!
It was the weekend of our July scrapbook retreat at Kim's house, and boy was it a good time. There were only three of us this year, but really, the small group seemed to work out great. I can't remember a time when I have been so relaxed. It was good stuff! We played games, won prizes, ate good food, and got some pages done. I believe my grand total was only eight pages, but I am so pleased with all of them. I'll post them soon.
And on Saturday, my co-worker and great friend Angie hosted a work bridal shower for me. The turnout was fairly small, but I was so happy that the people who did come decided to make it a priority. We received some very lovely gifts, and as you can see in the picture above, Angie spared nothing on the refreshments! Some very yummy eats, especially the sugar cookies from McKays with the hot pink and orange icing. YUM.
Saturday evening, Chris and I went on an impromptu dinner date with Kim and her family, along with my friend Pam, the other retreat attendee. I thouroughly enjoyed my dinner with them, what fun! And then, since Chris was only going to be working on a website for the rest of the evening, I decided to head back over to Kim's for more scrapping fun!!! Got home around 11:30, what a party animal!! :)
And now, another week begins.
Got my nails done this evening...pretty white french tips, the nails I will wear for our wedding! They look very nice indeed. Something mysterious was delivered to the house today, as well, and whisked off to Mimi's room before I could so much as blink. "For Mimi", as the story goes, but Chris sure disappeared in there for awhile! :)

FIFTEEN days until Mom and Randy arrive for their visit!!!
We found our musician for the wedding! I am very excited, this guy's voice is really good. This is his My Space page, if you'll wait for it to load, you can hear one of his songs...
Finalized the flowers today, so that feels good too. And picked up Aspen's wedding shoes. We're nearing the end here, and things are thankfully falling into place!
On tap for this weekend...finding Chris a tie and shoes...

I was googling an old coworker (at FD...) and stumbled across your blog. I rememember your fiance' at FD..., and I've been reading your extremely creative, cheerful blog.
So as not to be a "lurker," I decided to extend a heartfelt congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! I don't know if Chris remembers me, but it is great to see his (your) new family!

Yeah on getting that guy to play at the wedding! I loved him at the Dig Gig, It will be nice to hear him again!
