:: So sweet when a coworker/friend stops by to give me a small vase filled with bright gerber daisies! She knows they are my favorite...

:: We're soccer-ing it up this weekend at a pre-season tournament...in Lewisville, TX Saturday and Sunday, and then we'll have Monday to relax at home...

:: Aspen is going to begin playing the flute this year...she needs her flute by next week and we have yet to find one. Oops! And they are so dang expensive!!!

:: Tried to run up at the track last night, but the high school was having a function there. The nerve!! :) We're going to try again tonight.

:: I'm cooking every night this week...and three of those nights are new recipes. Look at me go! Last night, I made a tamale turn-about in my new bundt pan. Tonight, chicken parmesan. Hope it's good too!!

:: Can I just tell you??? After being insanely busy and stressed for about 6 months solid at work and at home, it is so bizarre to be so un-busy right now. I am certainly not complaining!!! I am the kind of girl who really enjoys a laid back life. And no stress is good by me! However, after being so go go go for so long, I am not quite sure what to do with myself!!! I kind of wander around the house all evening, not knowing what to do. It's the strangest feeling!

:: The garage does still have entirely too much trash/junk/goodwill stuff in it. And the storage unit still has a ton of stuff too. Maybe I will head out there and get started on some of that...
