another weekend

Look at our little flute player!! She is very excited to be playing an instrument, and so far she is doing very well. She's enjoying her practices. Best of all, as she plays, she gets our two chihuahas singing, and that is quite a riot to hear!!!

Anywho...another weekend is drawing to a close...

:: Friday evening, we had a lovely dinner at the Olive Garden with Kim and her family, along with some other friends of theirs. It was a nice birthday celebration for her before she hopped on the plane and headed to Florida for her fun little trip on Saturday. We had a great evening, thanks for inviting us along guys!!

:: Saturday was Crop Day...after the soccer game, I headed over to Pam's house and enjoyed a day of creativity with friends. Got home around 6:30, and headed out for a nice dinner alone with my husband as Aspen spent the night with a friend.

:: Sunday, so far, I've been working on wedding photos!!! :) We received the cd with all of our images on it, along with proof books. So exciting to have them in my hot little hands!!! I've been going through, resizing them for picture frames around the house. So many empty frames hanging everywhere, now they'll have something in them! I feel so blessed to be able to have Kris' beautiful images in our home. She made us beautiful, for sure...

:: Did a little shopping over the weekend, and actually found a few things: a pair of casual khaki pants that I can wear on Casual Days at work; a black shirt with circle outlines for work; and a skirt/shirt combo for work, in pretty purple colors. So, a few more items that can get me through the week at work. It's kind of crazy how little clothes I really have!

:: Chores on tap for the rest of the day...laundry...grocery shopping...I was going to take Ocho to PetSmart to get his nails trimmed but he isn't feeling too good today. He's been eating grass all morning, and his belly is gurgling. Poor guy. PetSmart will have to wait...
