wrap up

So, that was pretty much our trip to St. Louie...this final post has some random photos that I wanted to share, for whatever reason...and then we're moving onto other subjects!!

Had to share this one!

Cracks me up...my mom's Russian neighbor proudly hangs her bloomers for all to see...

Coming back from Illinois and a quick shopping trip & lunch at Olgas, I snapped this one of the Gateway to St. Louis...this is really the pretty side of the cityscape...

One night, Randy also built a little bonfire in their backyard, and we roasted marshmellows and made smores! YUM!!!! It was no nice and relaxing, we all enjoyed it.

This one looks like I captured a face in the flames...

I liked my marshmellows burned and black, so they kept catching on fire...no biggie! They were delicious!!

Chris, by the firelight...

My self-portrait...I'm pretty excited about figuring out how to use my camera for self portraits. My little digital screen turns around and faces me, and I can see exactly what I'm getting. Love it! I just have to remember to look at the lens and not the screen once I'm ready to take the pic...

Oh, now this little girl was something. While I was at Archivers in the mall, Mom and Chris discovered this beauty in the pet store downstairs. Mom was ADAMENT about getting me to agree to take her home. And I was just as ADAMENT about not taking it home, no matter how cute!!!! She was precious though. And tiny. But 4 dogs is tooooo many! When my mom found out that she was $1100, she was speechless...possibly for the first time ever!!!

This is it, my friends. The screened in porch. The screened in porch that had Chris so relaxed. Mr. Never Relaxes was relaxed all week because of this. We definitely need one. And the doggie door helps too!!!

And finally...the buds. These two had such a fun week together, and Ocho took 4 days to recouperate!!! They chased each other, argued over bones and toys, and just romped around. Ocho loved it. His two buddies here are old and grouchy and never want to play. He sure got his fill!!!

Loved our trip. Until next year...
