:: Had to call the Pest Patrol man back...he came out to our house to spray for spiders and ants about 2 weeks ago, and we are still seeing a lot of spiders. Not just measley little spiders either. I'm talking BIG spiders, hairy spiders, black widow spiders. Spiders I do not want hanging around our house. So, he is coming out to spray again on Friday. (Bright Side: we haven't seen any more ants!)
:: I'm having my allergies retested on Thursday morning at 9:00. After two years of getting the allergy shots, it is time to see how they've changed/reduced. Will be interesting to see. Unfortunately, to do the test, I have to have a medicine-free body for 48 hours. If you know me at all, you know that my allergies are severe and the thought of having NO allergy medicine in my body (not Zyrtec, not a decongestant, not Benedryl, nothing) is horrible. You've not SEEN snot until you spend some time with me with no allergy meds! I feel sorry for Chris and my coworkers!!! Last night was not good, as soon as I layed down to sleep it started. Constant running, leading to sneezing, leading to severe stuffiness where I felt like I was suffocating. Not attractive. Not pleasant. Thankfully, my 48 hour sentence is almost up. (Bright Side: I will know if my allergies have improved at all from this massive list from two years ago!)
:: More problems with the blinds. DO NOT EVER USE BUDGET BLINDS!!!!!!!!!!! Chris discovered that the blinds they put in the garage are not even the same color, and they are a different style. Remember they said one of the parts was broken and he would order it to replace it? Well, when I called to ask why they weren't even the right blinds, he acted like he knew, he had new ones on order, should be in any day now. He never once mentioned this to me. I am so tired of dealing with these people! (Bright Side: I would have to be too good of a person to come up with a bright side of dealing with this company.)
:: Had to take Ocho into the vet yesterday after work. I have suspected for awhile that he might have a bladder infection. I didn't know dogs could get those! I called and asked what the symptoms were and they matched Ocho perfectly. Poor pup. The vet checked him out and confirmed that it was a bladder infection, and I have to give Ocho an antibiotic pill every morning for two weeks. He also got a shot to reduce his fever of 103.5 And let's just say that Ocho was less than thrilled with the way the vet took his temperature!! The look on his face was priceless!!! (Bright Side: Ocho already seems to be on the mend!)
More Bright Side thoughts for today:
:: Only two more days of work until the weekend!
:: Most of our weekend is free of plans!
:: I am loving my new laptop!
