christmas in october

It started off innocently enough.

While having lunch at Taco Bueno, Aspen asked if we could look around at Office Depot for a bit. Sure. I needed to buy a new surge protector for our home computer anyway, so we headed over.

And then Chris says, "Oh, let's look at the laptops." And wouldn't you know it, there was a great Gateway laptop on sale for a really great price. And he's got that twinkle in his eye...

Granted, yes, my computer is a piece of crap. Very very slow, freezes up on me, bumps off the network constantly, etc. So, I often forgo using it and instead use the main computer. Which Chris needs to use a lot.

"What if we call this your Christmas present for this year??"

So, yes, we celebrated Christmas in October today, quite unexpectedly!!! Yippie!!

This laptop is awesome. And it has a 17" monitor too!!! Which is bigger than the typical 15", and I love it! We came home and set it all up and now we are both on the computers with big smiles!!!

My hubby spoils me for sure...I'm a lucky lucky girl. And he PROMISES that come Christmas time, he will NOT go out and buy me anything else. Yes, last year he promised not to buy anything and surprised me with an iPod. He better stick to his promise this year!!!!!
