rainy weekend

:: What a dreary, rainy weekend we've had here. I so do not enjoy the rain. Hopefully Monday will bring with it dry weather, and some sun!

:: This morning, I used my new
silicone egg pods to make some poached eggs...worked so well! I love these little pods.

:: We went to the new Hastings store in town. We've always had one, but they've moved locations. It seems a bit bigger, but pretty much the same stuff. I did get two magazines and a book though. Bought
this magazine and this magazine and this book...

:: Saturday was the monthly crop, and I had a fun time with the girls...AND I got 19 pages done!! Lately, I have been cranking pages out and it feels so good! This is how it used to be. And then I started getting bogged down by trying to find a fabulous layout to scraplift, and that was just eating up so much time. Why scraplift every layout? Just get it done. I have my own style and don't need to scraplift. And man, is it much faster! Will post some here this coming week...

:: Stopping at Drug Emporium last night, and hit the jackpot on the "healthy foods" of Abilene! They have quite a large section of good clean foods, and I'll be heading back there often. I found some quinoa and am looking forward to making my first recipe with that...had a pretty good food weekend with a few treats thrown in. Mr. Burger hamburger and chocolate shake Friday evening, and tortilla chips and queso at Abuelos today. Not too bad overall...

:: This coming Saturday is the
Projekt Revolution concert in Dallas...I think it will be a good time...and I hope that Chris enjoys every bit of it...

Time to do the weekly to-do list, and balance the checkbook...and then on to Monday yet again..

Sounds like you've had a nice weekend! I really enjoyed our crop yesterday. I loved your layouts and so proud of you for getting so many done! You don't need to scraplift, that's for sure. I love your style without it!

Hope your Sunday continues to be good!
