first stitches

:: Today, I was able to take off the bandage on my cheek. I wasn't sure what to expect. But it looked so much better than I feared. Correct me if I'm wrong Mom, but I believe these are the very first stitches I've ever had. Three little ties in a row. I was surprised when I took off the bandage, it was so clean and tidy. I can't really even see where they did anything! It just looks like I have these three black knots. I'm impressed with the dermatologist, he did a really nice, clean job. Thankfully, since it's my face!

:: Had a dentist appointment today...yes, it seems that this is my week for "pain"! For some reason, they found a cavity when I was there last week. This is very odd for me, as I am pretty strict on my tooth care. And lucky me, the tooth it was in needed TWO different shots to numb two different areas. Oh, that was joyful. And obviously the worst part, because when the novacaine kicked in, I couldn't feel anything.

:: Very busy and hectic day at work getting 1000 newsletters folded, addressed, folded again, tabbed, and mailed out. Took up the majority of my day.

:: Headed to the park with Chris after work...we were scheduled to do a 10 mile bike/run, but his hamstring muscle has been hurting him, so he cut the run in half. We did 5 miles, then stopped to pick up some dinner on the way home.

:: I'm feeling tired today...I think it may just be the stress of the work week so far...I'm ready for Friday and the weekend...

:: Time to relax...

Looks better then you would think, having stitches and all. I bet it wont leave a scare at all!

Yucky on the dentist news. :( Hopefully this will be your last cavity ever!
