busy week

:: I'm on Book 4 of the Twilight series...Breaking Dawn...here's my general consensus of the series so far. Book 1 I absolutely LOVED. Loved loved loved. Book 2 was quite a downer, depressing and pretty heart wrenching. It was also setting up a lot of things for the future, but it dragged a bit. Book 3 was much better and overall I really enjoyed it. Book 4...about the first half of this book didn't do it for me...I was not enjoying it, and there were parts that dragged and parts that were really disgusting. I'm about 3/4 done now, and it has picked up a bit. I feel like I'm back on track. But I'm not sure about where the author has decided to take this story. I guess I'll have more to say after I finish the series...

:: Mr. Ocho took a trip to PetSmart tonight to have his nails trimmed...he has to look his best for Ms. Roxy (my mom's dog)! They are good buddies, and Ocho is looking forward to playing with her. They'll have to take it easy though, as Roxy had some surgery on both her legs and she's not the playful pup she used to be...

:: Two more days and then we leave!!

:: My friend from work, Angie, has asked me if I will come over on Sunday 30th to take photos of her entire family. I was honored that she would ask me, and she invited Chris and Aspen to come along too, and enjoy some yummy Thanksgiving sweet treats. I'm sure I'll be pooped after our long week in STL and our long 13 hour drive back to Texas...but I couldn't tell her no. I'm a sucker for photos, so sue me...

:: You were all amazed at the damage of the island! :) I enjoyed all the comments. This evening, I was delegated to make the phone call to the builder. Fun. I will call them when we return from our trip.

:: I got my hair cut last night, and it feels good. Nothing major, just trimmed off some dead ends. She angled it in the front a bit, to frame my face. I actually wore it down at work the entire day and that never happens. It just feels so healthy!

:: Well, I need to do some packing and get a workout in too...that's all for my Wednesday...
