Splurge - that is not something that I do a lot of. But, during my week in St. Louis, it is something that happened...quite a lot!
My big SPLURGE was on my Coach Soho satchel...I've been wanting a "big name" handbag for awhile, but wasn't sure what I wanted. I think Coach bags are cool...however, I am not a big fan of the "C" pattern that is on a lot of their bags. I don't like how blatant that is. I didn't know that Coach had regular bags too...and when I set foot in the Coach store at the mall, I was pleasantly surprised to find they did actually have plain black leather with no "C"s to be found! This bag is perfect...classy, with two zippered sections and a middle snap section. Plus a pocket on the front and a pocket on the back. No more rooting around to find something. Everything has its own place. It's a medium bag...not too small, not too big. Something that I can carry for a very very long time...
My other splurging...I am none too happy about. There is just too much good food in St. Louis that I don't ever get to eat in Abilene. Thin crust pizza. Steak-n-Shake. PF Changs. I did try my best to make some good Clean Eating choices throughout the week, but while eating out for both lunch and dinner almost every single day, it started to add up quickly. I decided to ease up a bit and just enjoy the week...and I was very curious to see what the scale reported. At work today, I hopped on and I was up two pounds. I feel like I'm up about 10.
Eating got old very quickly. Even though it was foods that I have always loved. I was so very anxious to end the week and start fresh on Monday. To have healthy foods from morning to night. I feel so puffy and actually, kind of greasy. Like grease is just coming out of my pores! I am quite positive that my weak week will kick me into high gear with my Clean Eating and my workouts. And I don't have any worries about giving in to temptation during the Christmas season...we'll be home and not traveling. The traveling makes things pretty difficult. I will have much more control over my situation. Thank goodness for that...
Not the end of the world...but surely, thank goodness I am back to the grindstone!!!!!!

LOVE THE PURSE!!!!!!
Oh, I love the purse! I think it was a good splurge!
And now that you are back home you will get back on your clean eating and feel better again! It does make it difficult when you are on the road. You're doing great.
