:: Day 2 of my week off went very well...I was very productive once again. Such a great feeling! I was able to get more Christmas shopping done...as much as I could get done until next payday on the 15th! Even spent some good time in the afternoon, wrapping all the presents up. They are now under the tree and looking so pretty...
:: We've received four Christmas cards so far...I love Christmas cards! I love going to the mailbox each day to see if any have arrived in that delivery. Award for first Christmas card received for 2008 goes to Grandma and Grandpa Olender. Woo hoo! :) I'm excited to see what photo cards we get this year. They are always my very favorite. I love seeing how families change from year to year. So far, we've gotten one photo card, and it was adorable...my friend Susan and her two sweet kiddos...
:: Ocho had an appointment with the vet today, for his second round of rattlesnake vaccine. While there, I also talked with the vet about Ocho's little "humping" problem...I didn't think neutered dogs were supposed to still hump? The vet assured me that it was normal, some dogs do and some dogs don't. Oi...
:: Tomorrow, I need to take my pretty Murano in for an oil change. And the "tire pressure" light is on for some reason, though everything seems fine. I will have them check all that, and if everything looks good, I'll need to probably take it in to the Nissan dealership to see why the light is on.
:: I had to go to a follow-up dermatologist appointment yesterday...I wasn't very thrilled with the outcome. The doctor wanted to know why I hadn't scheduled an appointment for the procedure he recommended. I explained that I had talked it over with my family and decided that I wanted to take the "wait and see" approach. If it grows back, then I'll come in for the procedure. He wanted nothing to do with that answer, and explained that if it indeed does come back, by that time it will be deeper and bigger and spread more quickly. He stressed that he really thought I needed to have the procedure done. So, it looks like I'll be doing it in March. The procedure is done in layers. They take one thin layer, and look at it immediately under a microscope while I wait. If it looks like they got it all, then I'm done. If not, then they take another thin layer. Etc and on and on until the microscope shows no more traces. I'll have to take a book for reading between layers. He said each layer takes about an hour from beginning to end. I'll go in at 7:30 am, and stay as long as needed. Lovely fun!!
:: Tonight I need to workout and then work on stuff for my secret scrapbook santa. We're exchanging at the crop this Saturday. Lots of work to do! Also need to get stuff ready to work on at the crop. I'm looking forward to scrapbooking!!!
:: Well, better call it a day...more tomorrow! :)

Blah! Sorry to hear that the doctor is insitant that this be done. However, I suppose that is why he is the doctor. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he can get it in the first layer!!!!
