boring

:: Woke up this morning to an icy world...school was cancelled...work, however, was not. Oh, the joy of being an adult. So, I bundled up and piled into my trusty Murano and headed out onto the gray misty slip and slide. I had not driven the Murano in bad weather yet, so I wasn't sure how it would do. I give it a gold star!! I didn't slip at all, and made it to work safely. Chris, however, didn't far as well in his new Lexus. He slid down our driveway, which is about a 30 degree angle. Right out into the street, facing the wrong way. Oops! He slipped all the way to work but made it safely.

:: Now, it's 8:25 p.m. and it's raining ice. A steady stream. Not sure what it will look like in the morning but not looking forward to it. That much I know.

:: Work has become crazy busy...it's non-stop from beginning to end. When is my next vacation??

:: Didn't work out last night, but am planning on hopping on the treadmill here in a few minutes.

:: My Clean eating this week has been right on...I'm on course for a great week! Making it though the weekend will be the real challenge.

:: It's quite possible I have become the most boring person on the planet...my apologies...

:: Oh, here's a little tidbit I've discovered, and then I'll let you be...my scrapbooking process has evolved and it is GOOD...in the past, I poured over idea books and scrapbook magazines...I diligently cut out layouts that I liked and put them in notebooks...when beginning a page, I would gather all the stuff and then flip through endless books and notebooks to find "the perfect layout" to use for my page...and then I would set about recreating that layout. I did this for years. One day recently, I just said ENOUGH! I'm not doing this anymore, I waste way too much time! So, I changed things up. For the past 6 months or so, I have been gathering up all the stuff for a page, and just going with it. Putting this here and that there and sticking it down and calling it done. I feel free. I feel like I'm accomplishing a whole lot more at a much faster pace. And you know what? I still like my pages. They are simple and they are "me" and I love it. It's a GOOD change that I plan to stick with...I do have some layouts to share...soon...
