:: Friday evening, we watched Aspen's basketball team play their first game in a tournament...the score was not pretty...then we headed to dinner at El Chico.
:: Saturday was the monthly scrapbook crop...I picked Kim up at 9:30 and we scrapbooked with the girls until 5:45. It was a fun day, and I was able to get 10 more pages done. I also got 3 years worth of Christmas cards ready to scrapbook too. So, it was a productive day.
:: Came home to find that Chris had bought a Wii while I was away! He was setting it up when I got home, and then took a break so we could go eat at Cracker Barrel. Finished with set up when we got home, and then we all took some turns playing the games. Pretty fun stuff. For the playing, each player makes a "Mii" off themselves. You get to pick everything from face shape to eye size and color, to hair color and style, down to whether you have freckles or glasses. It was fun to create ours, and even crazier to see how similar they look to us! Mine is very cute, she has her brown hair in a bun, with freckles across her nose, big green eyes, and a lime green shirt.
:: Sunday was full of laundry and chores and grocery shopping...the normal stuff. Chris and I did take a break to play a little Wii against each other :)
:: Chris and I also did 16 miles today...whew. It completely wiped us both out, we've been worthless ever since. 16 miles = 8 miles per hour = 2 complete hours of riding = about 7 minutes 30 seconds per mile. We took a route that had many hills, and I'm just spent.
:: The week in Clean Eating wasn't stellar. Starting with the Moose Tracks Chris surprised me with and moving on to the crop on Saturday, it wasn't the best. On Saturday, I decided to have an "old Kelley" kind of day...ate lots of junk at the crop to include white cheddar popcorn, chocolate chex mix, sugar cookies w/ gobs of icing and sprinkles. By the time 5:00 hit, I was feeling nasty. My head felt like it was swimming in crud, and I just had no energy. The crop didn't end until 6:00, but at 5:00 I ended up putting all my stuff away and just flipping through some scrapbooking magazines for an hour. By the time I got home, I just felt icky. We decided to go to Cracker Barrel for dinner, where I finished myself off. Ordered sweet tea, steak, dumplins, fried okra, and steak fries with ranch dressing. By the time I started chugging my sweet tea, I started feeling better...ate myself silly, and before we even left the restaurant, the icky feeling was back. Dang sugar. I hate it, and am sooo glad that I've cut it out of my diet on a normal basis. I have realized I don't much like the way "old Kelley" used to live. Which brings me to...
:: This upcoming week is going to be my first ever 100% Clean Eating week...I am dedicated to it. Saturday showed me that I indeed have been feeling sooo much better because of the changes I've made. My body is worth it, and I am dedicated to it...this will be the first week of it, and then after that, it will be so much easier to avoid the treats...
:: I finished my Obama book...it was decent. I'm glad to be done with it. I have moved onto a novel, and decided to go with "The Tenth Circle".
:: Time to do my to-do list for the week, and balance the checkbook! Have a super Monday!

sounds like a nice weekend. The Mii Sounds very cute! It is strange how close you can make them to look likeyourself.
Hope you have a wonderful week!
Very rarely I will do that splurge and not even on sugar but SF Chocolate and I say, "this is how I used to feel all the time". Still do it sometimes and easy to realize, just not worth it.
