:: I get the hiccups very very frequently...always have. I've tried all the tricks out there for getting rid of them, and nothing works. Until now. I have found something that makes them stop, every single time. You will need some water and a straw. Sit down and put the water in front of you. While drinking rapidly through the straw, hold your ears firmly closed at the same time. Keep drinking until you feel like they are gone. I'm amazed!
:: I use a lot of fresh garlic when I cook, and always hate prying the skin off because it is such a hassle and makes my fingers smell awful. Rachel Ray gave a helpful hint in her recent magazine: microwave the clove for 10 seconds, and then skin comes right off. It works!
:: I loved this quote when I stumbled upon it: Never ever compromise on what you put in your body. Amen.
:: If you are anything like me, you have a trillion recipe clippings floating around in a mess. My collection continues to grow as I search for more and more ways to cook Clean. I saw this in Better Homes & Gardens magazine. You can create your own cookbook and have it printed...www.BHG.com/tastebook. I definitely want to check into this!
:: On Friday, I made a few online purchases...I bought this workout DVD which I think will be very good...and this pilates DVD too...and while I was at Amazon, I went ahead and bought this leadership book too...everything should arrive this week!
:: In the meantime, I have snuck in another novel...I bought The Rescue by Nicholas Sparks...the last book of his that I haven't read. I'm a few chapters in...
:: I am dying for some arms like this...I wouldn't mind the rest of her body too, but I'll start with the arms!
:: Coming up this week, hopefully: a recap on the track meet on Saturday up at Texas Tech University...I FORGOT MY CAMERA and am waiting on a fellow runner's dad to get me a cd of the pics he so kindly took of Aspen. Yes, my body was obviously invaded by aliens, as I am never without camera. Hopefully he got some good ones...I'll share the stories once I can post some pics too...

Sounds like you have been doing well! Nicholas Sparks books always seem to be ones I like and get through fast even if they are pretty predictable...still a good read. I am sure you have been busy on your photo order too...sounds like clean eating is going well too...oh I saw a clean eating magazine at Target last week and totally thought of you...that might be something you should get if you don't already have it....recipes, ideas for eating out, etc...
