:: Super windy here this evening...I have never known wind like we have here. It's so bad tonight that we have a tornado watch here in town. And Chris and Aspen were out running in it!! :)
:: Trying to figure out what we need to pull together for our taxes this year. Our personal stuff shouldn't be too difficult, but we also have a side business. I don't keep great records during the year, so I need to do some organizing before it's ready to turn in. Chris and I have discussed shutting our little company down, and I'm ready for that. There is a whole lot that I do not understand about owning a business. Franchise taxes and sales taxes and personal property. Plus, we don't even make that much money, so there's really not much point to it.
:: I have been doing very well in the "no spending money" kick...I'm proud of myself. To satisfy some of the desire to shop, I went online over the weekend to Two Peas in a Bucket and bought two months worth of Bunko prizes. Those are things that I have to have (a $10 prize each month), so I got that taken care of. I also bought a few packages of page protectors so I can get more albums organized. My order should arrive this week.
:: I'm reading Sundays at Tiffany's by James Patterson, and it hasn't been what I expected. I've read some of his other non-scary books, and thought he was a very good writer. This book, so far, is reminding me a lot of a fluffy beach read, like one about shopping. It seems very on-the-surface and the writing is a bit one dimensional. The story has been okay, I guess it's the presentation that I'm not too keen on...I'm about halfway done.
:: My workouts have been pretty lackluster. My clean eating is going great, but I just can't seem to find my motivation for upping my exercise intensity. Need to figure out what my deal is.
:: Mimi said tonight something to the affect of, "If Aspen starts looking anymore like you, Kelley, it's going to start being scary." Meaning that I am her step-mom, not her biological mom, and it's a little eerie that we look so similar. It's funny, because I hear this frequently. Most people are surprised when they find out I am only her step-mom. I think she has learned some of my mannerisms, and that makes us appear similar. We are both also all about the ponytail and the messy bun. :)
:: Well, I'm off to work on taxes...

Maybe you should change your exercises. Sounds like you are bored. That is usually my reason for feeling unmotivated.
If you can't stay motivated to work out, what hope is there for me? LOL
I LOVE James Patterson, although I haven't read the book you're currently reading. Of course, I love scary books so I read lots of his stuff you wouldn't touch. ; ) Isn't it odd that Dean Koontz is one of my favorite authors and I love murder mysteries and such but I absolutely can NOT stand scary movies? I'm so odd...
