:: Happy St. Patty's Day to all you Irish out there!!

:: It's a Beautiful Day today...almost 90 degrees and sunny. Ahhh. I worked a bit late this evening, and got home around 6:00...and hopped on my bike for a nice 30 minute ride. I haven't ridden in awhile, and I just couldn't resist a little shot of Vitamin D.

:: Got fabulous, wonderful, amazing news today...my boss is pushing back the deadline for my annual report by a week! Holy cow, that was the best news. I could feel the tension winding tighter and tighter in my chest...not because it stresses me out to have to design it, more that I do not have any time during my workday to work on it. That is a bit stessful! Hopefully with the extended deadline I can squeeze in some time at work.

:: I thought Idol was a pretty good show this evening. A lot of them are standouts to me, but I definitely have a favorite. I really liked Alexis' "Jolene"...I thought Anoop did great on his Willy Nelson song...I thought Kris' Garth song was very touching. I was on the fence with Danny..."Jesus Take the Wheel" is my least favorite Carrie Underwood song, so that may have been part of it. Once he hit the chorus, I think he got into his groove though. My favorite, though, is Megan. That girl has absolutely zero idea what to do with her body when she sings, but I love the sound of her unique voice. So, where I think it might be a little awkward to watch her, my belief is that this is a singing competition. Not a performance competition. I would listen to a cd of hers over and over again...and you don't have to see the person to do that. :) It's sort of like Sarah Mclachlan...she has an amazing voice, but I don't think her live performances are anything to write home about.

:: Another day drawing to a close...a quick leg workout and then some relaxing...
