empty well

:: Very busy day at work, but accomplished a lot. Even had a few hours to work on the annual report and that was a relief.

:: Still waiting for these three strips to fall off my face. She said they would come off when they were ready, and those suckers are still quite adhesive. One has come halfway off, so I trimmed it because it was flapping. Ready for them to be off so I can get on with the healing...

:: This Saturday, we'll be at a track meet here in town. Aspen will be running the mile and 1/2, the mile, and the mile relay. Should be a good day...there will be some good competition there for her, girls she's run against before (in cross country with the running group she trains with). I know she will do well, and am looking forward to seeing her run.

:: I was a bit surprised on Idol last night, with who America voted off. I thought for sure that Alexis would stick around for awhile. Between her and Michael Sarver, I think he definitely should have gone.

:: I need to clean our oven. Part of what I made last night for dinner dripped out onto the bottom, and so now as I'm using the oven tonight, said drippings are burning and smelling. Ick. I hate cleaning an oven!! There is a "self-cleaning" function, and I will have to try that. It sort of worries me though, that it will burn down the house!!!!

:: I've got nothing tonight...my brain is an empty well...maybe tomorrow it will be full.
