Today I finished the book I was reading...I truly enjoyed this one.

"The Girl with No Shadow" by Joanne Harris...

Perhaps you have read "Chocolat"...or seen the movie starring Johnny Depp. I read that book years ago, and remember really liking it. Saw the movie too, and thought it was good. Being awhile back, though, I didn't remember the details. Just a general idea of what it was about. This book is the sequel to "Chocolat"...and I was able to just jump right into this book without much memory of the first.

I would recommend reading both...but the second one on its own is doable too because she does explain some of the history throughout.

There's suspense...and magic...and secrets...and love...told from three different viewpoints of three very different women. She writes beautifully, and I look forward to finding some of her other work...

Next up: "Henry and June" by Anais Nin...hmmmm...
