mimi is 59

Today is Mimi's 59th birthday...and doesn't she look fabulous? I always like to take a "birthday portrait" of everyone every year on their birthday, and I think this one turned out pretty darn good!

Before we could head to Red Lobster for her birthday dinner, this had to happen first:

Four miles in the books, and then off we went for some delicious grub! Shrimp and cheddar buns and salad and baked potatoes and salmon and pasta and cheese sticks and stuffed mushrooms...needless to say, we are all fat as tics now!

Aspen discovered, halfway through her salad, that there was a lady bug in it! Kind of odd...I told her that it was lucky, but we got her a new one...and then the waiter offered her a free dessert to make it up to her. She and Chris were in chocolate gooey heaven...

And happy birthday also to my cousin Katie!! Let's see...she's four years younger than me, so that makes her...good grief, she isn't even 30 yet! Nevermind. :) Today was also a fun day for her, they were finding out the sex of their bun in the oven...can't wait to hear the news!
