Happy Father's Day! I think Chris had a very nice day...he received cards (even from Ocho!), and Aspen bought him a very cute Dad frame that says "Any man can be a father, it takes someone special to be a dad." The above photo will go into it, and he'll put it in his new office at work, once the remodel is done in a few weeks. We also took him out for a nice lunch at Chili's and enjoyed the time together.
Thought this one of the three of them was cute too!!
Father's Day is special, but also bittersweet...not only is it a day to celebrate Chris and the wonderful father that he is...but it's a day to remember the special fathers in our lives who are no longer with us. Chris' dad Lanny, who passed away when Chris was a young boy...and my dad Michael and my step-dad Pat, both of whom I am without. Also our grandfathers who have passed away...we miss all of these people, and know that our lives were blessed by knowing them.
A special wish goes out to my grandpa Alex and my dear Clarence...happy Father's Day to two very special men!
