:: Our new designer brought me an apple today...and wrote me a little note that said "thank you for being such a great teacher!" I thought that was very sweet!
:: We went to look at another house this evening...it was a very nice house and there was a lot that we liked about it. However, the two other bedrooms were pretty small, as was their bathroom. There was absolutely zero yard (well, it was a big yard, but it was all dirt), and there were three tiny patios throughout, not connected. Kind of odd. Nice, but not for us.
:: Mimi offered to buy dinner again this evening, on the way back from house hunting...not sure what the deal is there, but definitely took her up on it! I'm beginning to think they don't like my cooking!! :) At any rate, there goes my Clean Eating goals...sucking it up big time. I've been doing great all day except for dinners. Blah.
:: Aspen has a Regional track meet this coming weekend, and if she places in the top 4 in either of her two races, she'll get to move on to the National Jr. Olympic meet at Drake University in Iowa. Fingers crossed! She'll be running the 3000 and the 1500...one is Saturday morning at 7:15 and the other is at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.
