our weekend

:: It seems, as of Friday, that Aspen's grades are good enough (meaning no failing grades) for her to participate in Track. So...we'll see how that goes. She stopped running for a good 2-3 months and lost most of what she had worked so hard to achieve...it could prove to be an interesting season.

:: Friday evening, Chris and I went to Red Robin for dinner and enjoyed our time together...then we rented The Proposal and watched that...it was very cute, we thought.

:: Saturday, Chris and I got up at 8:00 and went on a 17 mile bike ride/run. As if that isn't a big undertaking all on its own, the wind was horrendous. We ended up only going about 13 miles and then Chris finished up the other 4 miles on the treadmill. The wind just wiped us out completely. 13 miles felt like 40. We then enjoyed lunch out together, ran a few errands, and then he and Greg put the finishing touches on the hardwood floor. Then we met Greg and Lauren for dinner. When we got home, we watched Four Christmases with Reece Whiterspoon...it was okay...but my day was very good with my hubby!

:: Today we have gone to church, grocery shopped, and I worked on an invitation for the Alzheimer's Association. Chris woke up feeling like he'd caught the cold I had last week...so he'll have that for a few days, I'm sure.

:: I bought base coat, light pink polish, and top coat in the O.P.I. brand, and gave myself a manicure last Sunday. This Sunday, it is still pretty much intact and I find that amazing! Need to redo them today...

:: At church, we have a brief session during the song worship where people greet their neighbors...and for some reason, there is a certain couple that refers to us as "the Chris and Kelley morning show!"...they think this is hilarious. ???

:: Still no white sugar...I'm going on 52 days now without it. Feeling great, and can see a little difference in my body too. Woot woot!

:: Time to do some chores...I have called off the "day of rest" for today!
