lexus & birthday dinner

First, I will start with a photo of the poor Lexus...truly, it is so sad to see it. It was such a beautiful car.

It looks worse in person.

On a different note, tonight I celebrated my birthday with Mimi, Aspen and Chris...this was the first night since the weekend that we were able to head out for dinner, and I didn't mind waiting. I never have a problem stretching my birthday out longer than the actual day :)

So, we had a DELICIOUS dinner at The Beehive, my normal birthday dinner choice. MMMMM. The filet there is like butter. I was in heaven. Yum. I have it once a year, and it is definitely worth the wait.

From there, we decided to stop in the bluebonnet field for a few quick pics before the sun went down, and then home for gifts!! I got some great goodies...an Express gift card from Mimi, which is always a favorite...can't wait to go shopping! Also from Mimi, a big kitchen pot...I've been wanting a second one for awhile, and am so happy to have it! From Aspen, a beautiful glass picture frame with a bible verse about love etched into it, with space for three photos. Will need to find some good ones for it...love it. From Chris, he bought me a comfy, casual sundress from Eddie Bauer that I've been wanting, and it fits perfect! And to my surprise, he was able to find the North Face jacket that I have been wanting...at Christmas, every site was sold out. LOVE this, it is sooooo soft and fuzzy. And the blue is amazing. I am a lucky, blessed girl, indeed!

Another great birthday in the books!! Hello, 34!! Now, for the bluebonnet shots...

This will probably be my last post until my first Sabbatical post. Tomorrow is my last day of work for thirty days. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Friday will be a busy busy day. My Sabbatical officially begins on Monday. I will have a work blog during the thirty days to document my Sabbatical experience, and my plan is to post the same post here as well. So, there will be one post every day for thirty days. Typically I don't post on Friday or Saturday, so that will be a little different.

I am ready to see what my Sabbatical will bring...
