two more days!

:: Another full day, but that much closer to Saturday!!! Two more work days and then it is Sabbatical time baby!! I am getting more and more excited the closer I get. 30 days off...can you even wrap your mind around that concept?????????

:: Talked about sushi with some coworkers today...think I need to try it. Soon!

:: I have received my dress and my shoes from Chadwicks, and am happy to say that both fit and both are cute!!! The dress fits like a glove, like it was made for me. Trust me, that is rare!!

:: We have now finished "Waking the Dead" and I am so sad that we are done. It is such a good book. So eye-opening, so true, so deep. Loved it, and definitely recommend that you add it to your list. Satan is constantly attacking us, and unless people open their eyes to that fact, most don't even realize that fact...

:: During my Sabbatical, I am going to read another book by the same author of "Waking the Dead"...it is called "Captivating" and his wife co-wrote it with him. It's about a woman's heart and how to bring it fully alive. So looking forward to it!!!!

:: I forgot to mention this yesterday, can't believe it...I even forgot to tell my mom about it. Bear with me people, I am close to fried. This Sabbatical couldn't be at a more perfect time!!!! Tuesday was our Shareholders Meeting at work, a big day for the company every year. All of our shareholders come, and that means our parking situation is limited. So they were directing traffic, having people park in odd places. Well, Chris was asked to park in the back, along the edge of the curb. Near 5:00, he calls me and says that he has bad news. One of our coworkers had gotten into the company van to head out on his daily trip to the bank, and he backed right into Chris' Lexus. OMG. The driver's door, side mirror, and front panel are all dented in and scraped. Chris held it together pretty well. He's only had this car (his dream car) for one year and four months, and now it's all busted up. It was an accident, and can hopefully be fixed good as new. Unfortunately, the Lexus dealership is in Dallas, so that will mean a trip there and back probably two times at least, and having to leave the car there to be fixed. It is just heartwrenching, because it was such a gorgeous car. It almost brings tears, just looking at it. I need to get a photo, will post it soon.

:: Time to get some rest...more tomorrow!
