go lakers!

:: So, it's Game 6 of the NBA playoffs...my family is having great fun rooting against me! I am for the Lakers...and the rest are outfitted in their Celtic green, even Mimi. Chris is wearing a green bead necklace and they've posted signs for the Celtics all around the tv. Should prove to be an interesting evening! The Lakers need to step it up if they think they're going to win...Kobe, as amazing as he is, can't win it by himself. Game 5 had Kobe with 38 points, and none of the rest of the players had higher than 9 points each. That is ridiculous! We shall see if they get energized by being on home court.

:: Horrible horrible headache. We had a thunderstorm last night all night, and whatever it brought in with it jacked me up good. My allergies were out of control starting around 3:00 a.m. and I was up and down the rest of the night. Woke up very tired, very snotty and stuffy, and had a splitting headache. The allergies have died down but the headache remains. If I ever find a genie in a bottle, one of my three wishes will be to never have another headache in my lifetime.

:: Made pesto pitas tonight for dinner...it is one of our favorites, and I realized tonight that it is one of the first recipes I learned back when I was 23. Surely a classic then! Three different cheeses, black olives, and pesto on whole wheat pitas. Yum!

:: I got these back when I was on Sabbatical, but wanted to be sure to post about them because they are awesome!!! Sanuk Yoga Mat flip flops...sooooo comfy! I tried these on when I went shopping with Dronda in St. Louis, and I couldn't believe how comfy there were. The soles are made from actual yoga mats. Heaven!! I bought them in black and brown.

:: Mimi surprised me with this adorable apron! I love frilly aprons, and she saw it and thought of me...it has yummy cupcakes on it, and I figure if I can't eat them, I might as well wear them! :)

:: Well, time to rest the eyes and nurse the headache...
