more to discuss than i realized!

:: I made a delicious dinner tonight...baked chicken breasts breaded in panko & parmesan cheese, mashed potatoes, and greenbean casserole. Delish! I ate TOO MUCH and have a belly ache now.

:: Started a new book tonight, another one by Jodi Picoult...this one is called Perfect Match. I'm only in Chapter One, so I will keep you posted.

:: Chris and I are having lunch tomorrow with the missionaries he is going to Uganda with next month. They are very nice, and I think it will be a good chance for Chris to ask them any last questions he has so that he can set his mind at ease. The closer he gets to leaving, the more anxious he is getting. It's a big trip, and it has life-changing possibilities.

:: Tomorrow, my boss returns from his 30-day Sabbatical...my Sabbatical and his Sabbatical were back to back, so it has been two full months since we have worked together. I have missed him and am excited to see how his Sabbatical has changed him.

:: I ordered these sandles over the weekend...I've never tried a Merrell shoe, but they are known for their comfort. I must really be getting old, because the comfort of a shoe is beginning to be really important to me :) My Yoga Mat flip flops are the most comfortable thing I've ever worn, but I can't wear them to work. We'll see what I think of these...I can always send them back if I don't like them...

::A co-worker told me about this blog today, and it gave me a good chuckle! Probably because I talk in MY sleep, and Chris is always threatening to start writing a journal of all my crazy sayings.

:: I bought this awhile back, and am liking it a lot. I use it to quickly blend up skim milk, protein powder, and pure unsweetened cocoa powder. (I'll give you one guess on which color I got!) The key to this product is the little wire whisk ball that goes inside. It helps to blend up everything nicely, especially the cocoa powder which doesn't necessarily dissolve very well.

:: I had a HORRIBLE allergy attack last night. I weeded our petunias (which are growing like gangbusters!) for about 3 minutes, and then it started raining so I came inside. Washed my hands. Within ten minutes, I was just a mess. I think it was a combo of the flowers and the rain. Rain does horrible things to me. I took a Benedryl but was still up half the night unable to breath. Poor Chris, I feel so bad for him on those nights, it has to be difficult to sleep soundly with all my snorting and sneezing and snot. He must really love me! I woke up this morning in a deadly Benedryl coma and had a very difficult time getting going. Felt like I couldn't open my eyes for a good 40 minutes! By 9:00 though, I was fine and dandy and have been good all day. I wish I could have a sinus transplant. Mine suck.

:: Off to relax for a few minutes before I crash into a deep sleep, hopefully!
