:: Sorry for the lack of blog yesterday...teenage trouble on the home front and a long, trying evening.

:: Looks like we're about to get a big storm here in a few minutes, so we won't need to water all of our plants tonight. A break for us!

:: Chris and I are getting ready to book a room for our weekend getaway to Fredericksburg! Yay, can't wait to get away with him for two days. Should be fun since it'll be the 4th of July and they'll be having lots of fireworks!

:: Read "A Bend in the Road" by Nicholas Sparks over the weekend. I pretty much finished it one day, but that is only because I was in the car for 6 hours to/from Dallas. It was the last book of his I needed to read, now I've read them all!! I thought it was a pretty good story. Pretty predictable though. After reading all of his books, you can definitely see a strong pattern in his story telling. The main women characters tend to be similar in personality, as do the men. They fall in love, something tragic happens to tear them apart, and they end up together again. For the majority of his books, this is the norm. I guessed at the ending before I was done with the first chapter...I did enjoy the story though, it was a good way to pass 6 hours!

:: Still reading "Marriage on the Rock" and there is endless good information in there. It's just really too much to share here. I LOVED doing my sabbatical blogs because they were much deeper and soul searching, but honestly they took me more time than I have to spend on my regular blog here...back to normal life, I guess.

:: I've been working out much harder than typical, and I am sad to say I am not seeing much improvement. It's a bit discouraging, really, but I've got to keep at it.

:: Time to relax...
