:: Right at 5:00 it began to pour down rain (I'm talking torrential)...I dashed to my car and was soaked by the time I got there. I needed to grocery shop and return some movies. Started at Blockbuster and could barely get out of the car. Dropping the movies in the slot about did me in. After going through an intersection that almost made me turn around (it was pretty darn deep), and the roads were beginning to flood, I decided it was time to just head on home. Stupid rain. Hate the rain.
:: I was able to head back out to the grocery store around 7:30 once the rain stopped, though. The sun was out and intense, and it was glittering off all the wet stuff and it really just caused me to stop and smile and feel hopeful for some reason...
:: Chris is currently in the air on his way to Amsterdam...and then he's got one more flight, a three hour drive from Dallas, and then HE IS HOME!!!!!!!!!
