Now, doesn't that look inviting? :)

Not too shabby for two people who don't really have a green thumb! Our landscaping in the front is really blooming and growing and it's amazing! I have four lemons in the works, and they are getting big. Love it! These pink petunias are growing like gangbusters...it is crazy how thick they are. Our neighbor even came over to see what they were, because she noticed that had tripled in days and she wanted to go buy some! Chris even created a "rare" breed of petunia for us: the polka dot petunia!

He sprayed his OFF right above them by mistake, and the bug spray landed on the petals. A little later, I noticed this effect and now we've got some with polka dots. It didn't seem to harm them at all, so that is good!

In other news, I am excited because the girl in my department at work want to do a book study on the book Captivating. I read it over my Sabbatical and am so thrilled to read it again and discuss it with these great ladies. Looking very forward to it. We're starting in August.

Chris' Sabbatical officially began today!!! It was weird to go off to work without him. It was much more fun when I was the one lagging behind lazy in the bed :) He woke up fairly early, did his five mile run, and then spent some time out by my fountain doing his reading. Then he spent the afternoon laying the rest of our limestone path in the backyard. It looks so good, I will try to post a picture tomorrow. Be sure to keep up with Chris on his Sabbatical blog...he is a very good writer, and he'll be going through some good life changing experiences!

Have a fairly bad headache tonight, so cutting it short...hopefully will wake up tomorrow morning with a clear head.
