We had an afternoon tour planned at Silverado -- the building was beautiful when we pulled up!

We went inside and discovered our tour guide, in his kilt! Interesting! He was not the most fascinating of guides, but it was good to see their process and their views...

This is one of my favorite scenery photos...from the balcony at Silverado...ahhh, gorgeous.

A view of the bottling and labeling room at Silverado...a lot goes into the process!

After our tour there, we stopped at Mumm, which was a nice cozy place. The view from our table there was gorgeous too...

Instead of doing a tasting, we decided to each just order a glass of their sparkling wine, and it was so tasty! We enjoyed relaxing at the table inside, chatting and reflecting on our trip...

The next day, Saturday, was our anniversary! With no set plans, we headed out to stop wherever we decided! First stop was the Napa sign...love stuff like this!

We walked through Mondavi, which was a very cool place - had a spanish vibe, with sculptures everywhere and an amazing view once you walked through that arch.

Loved this sculpture in the parking lot, right before the entrance...

Chris and the Mondavi vines...

We also stopped at MarketPlace, and walked around looking at the shops, restaurants, etc there.

I had not seen a single donkey during our whole trip, so I was very excited when we came upon this old Buick with the donkey hood ornament...I wanted to snatch it :) Excuse the hair, it was a windy morning!

We stopped briefly at Del Dotto...very ritzy place with marble and crystal chandeliers everywhere...couldn't take photos inside though.

We had lunch at V. Sattui, which was insanely crowded. But so fun! They said it was just a normal Saturday for them :) They had very good wine, especially a sweet wine we enjoyed with our lunch. We had some shipped home!!

We stopped a few other little places and then headed to the room to get ready for our anniversary dinner! Pictures from that coming tomorrow!
