final bits of napa

Had to share this one, it cracks me up :) I was a bit weirded out by this sculpture at first...I knocked on it to make sure it wasn't a real person pretending to be a sculpture!!

I had to share a picture of me with the gift Chris made for me! A wooden heart, with C+K carved into it. So thoughtful of him to make this sweet treasure for me!

I already wrote the details about our anniversary dinner at Eikos...you can read about that there. It was such an amazing experience for us! I loved every single thing we ate, and the presentation was incredible...I had to share the beauty with you!

The above is raw amberjack fish, with some kind of slaw and an egg...sashimi...it was so odd but so delicious!

Then we had the rainbow roll, which allowed us to try different types of raw fish...

And this one is the heirloom tomato roll...soooooo good!

This was our sushi chef -- he was a master!!! We truly enjoyed watching him create each thing like it was a piece of art!

I know there aren't any sushi places here in Abilene that could compare to this...but maybe we can find one in Dallas! I'm already to have some more!!!

So, that is the extent of the photos to share...I hope you enjoyed seeing bits from our trip! Now I am going to concentrate on getting everything organized and prepared to have a big printed album done. Can't wait!!!!
