working through the week

:: Today was downright cold in Abilene...brrr! Currently 39 right now, with a low of 22 tonight. I broke out my coat, and the dogs declared that it is indeed doggie sweater weather. Poor chilly Chihuahuas!!!

:: Watching The Voice result show -- one of my faves is through, hoping for the other two!!!

:: Day two of running in the books tonight...running two days in a row was tough! All Run November. At least until Thanksgiving Day!! I have to give my VIP presentation tomorrow from 4:00 - 5:30, so hopefully I can get my run in after that. We shall see.

:: Say a little prayer for my presentation tomorrow! My first time doing it solo. I feel oddly calm about it, but would still appreciate prayers!

:: Two more days of work, and then another Friday off!!! Woot woot!!!!

:: We have a fun chalkboard at work, where we ask a different question each week and people who come through our department add their answers. This week's question: What is your love language??? If you haven't read the Five Love Languages book by Gary Chapman, it is a great read that will open your eyes to some real truths. The five choices are: physical touch, quality time, gifts, acts of service, words of affirmation. I would love for you to share what you think your language is, here in my comments! This is what makes YOU feel loved...my language is physical touch, and Chris' language is acts of service. The difficult thing is that we all tend to give love to other people in the language that WE speak...not in the language that they speak.
