my Friday

:: Here we are at Thursday -- it's been a weird week. I am happy to be off work tomorrow. My last Friday off of 2013.

:: Mimi is doing pretty well. She is alert and in minimal pain, at least for now. She hasn't been able to sleep much at the hospital, but they are hopeful that she'll be able to come home tomorrow at some point. We shall see. It will be a long road ahead...she is left handed, and it is her left elbow that broke. So it is in a sling and will be for at least 6 weeks. She'll have to learn to do things with her right hand, and everything will be difficult for awhile. Continued prayers are always appreciated.

:: Work is good, but extremely busy. This is the most insane time of the year. Our sales meeting is next week, along with our company-wide meeting and our end of year party. Annual reviews are also due by next Friday, and I have six to do and go over. Busy busy.

:: I was able to get our Christmas cards ready to mail out! They are going in the mail tomorrow! Yay! It's the 13th and we haven't received any yet. Kind of odd.

:: For my day off tomorrow, I have a doctor's appointment at 10:00 and then a few errands to run. I am also hoping to get some Christmas shopping done. Everything will revolve around Mimi's discharge from the hospital I guess.

:: Tonight we are watching Love Actually -- my favorite Christmas movie!!! What is yours???
